Subodh Bhave’s ‘Karaar’ with Urmila Kanetkar and Kranti Redkar
In a modern, career-oriented, competitive world nobody cares too hoots about human emotions and family relations. To cater to such a fast-paced, workaholic world, we humans have reduced every relationship to just another Karaar (Agreement).
Somewhere, this has had a shocking impact on the society’s emotional values. In this practical world then Karaar fills the void left open by our societal norms.
Director ‘Manoj Kotian’ in association with ‘Crake Entertainment’s Poonam Sivia & Neelam Sivia have endeavored to throw new light on human relationships in the world today.
Subodh Bhave’s co-stars Urmila Kanetkar and Kranti Redkar will add glamour as well as drama to Karaar along with Suhasini Mule. Being a family drama, Karaar, will hit the right notes among families and comfortably connect with the audience.

Speaking on the occasion Bhave said, “Karaar is a family film and portrays the problems and issues faced by every individual in a family. We should sign an agreement for doing good deeds in our lives and the film will be loved by the people.”
“I am thankful to the film’s directors for casting me in this role,” said Kranti. I am playing ‘Radha’ in this film and I am very excited about my role as Radha’s character is very different from all other roles I have essayed before this.”
Urmila-Kanetkat Kothari also clarified what Karaar means to her. “We cannot spend quality time with our family because of the work pressure of our fast-paced careers. We should sign an agreement of spending good time with our near and dear ones,” she said.
The film’s Music score is done by ‘Vijay Gawande’ and ‘Paresh Shah’, while Avadhut Gupte, Shreya Ghoshal, Bela Shende, Sonu Kakkar, Jasraj Joshi, Neha Rajpal and Vaishali Samant will be giving their voice to the film’s characters. The film’s story is written by ‘Sanjay Jagtap’ and dialogues by ‘Hemant Edlabadkar’.
Music director Avdhut Gupte, who always keeps an ear to the ground while not only composing but also directing films and has always shown social realities without compromising on the entertainment factor, will soon have world premier of his directorial debut ‘Kanha‘ on Zee Talkies.
The film will be telecast twice: 12 pm on December 18 and later at 7 pm the same day.
The film depicts the contemporary conditions that revolve around the celebrations of Janmashtami in Maharashtra.
What is the real Janmashtami celebration? Should we celebrate the festival in the traditional way or shall we exploit it for commercial considerations? These are some of the burning questions that the film has tried to explore.
In recent times, the festival has witnessed several casualties, some of them even life-threatening and fatal.
The film also showcases how cynical politicians have, for their ulterior benefits, exploit the youth — Raghu and Malhar’s character in the film — to serve their vested interests.
Vaibhav Tatvawadi, Gashmir Mahajani, Prasad Oak, Kiran Karmarkar, Gauri Nalawade, Sumedh Vani will be seen entertaining the audiences of Zee talkies but also pose some thought-provoking questions.

Laxmikant Berde’s Son, Abhinay Berde To Romance Arya Ambekar
Director Satish Rajwade’s 6th January release ‘Ti Sadhya Kaay Karte’ is a romantic-caper starring Abhinay Berde, the late actor Laxmikant Berde’s son paired opposite another debutant Aarya Ambekar. The film’s second teaser, 90 seconds in length, released recently, shows the film’s protagonists expressing their ‘first love’ feelings.
While Abhinay looks like a casanova, flitting like a butterfly from one branch to another, Arya pins her life in the belief that first love is the true love. And it exists. While you have Abhinay saying ‘Pehla pyaar, baar-baar, lagataar’, Arya believes first love is true love and it exists.
Interestingly, Abhinay’s college-kid character transforms into a mature ‘Ankush Chaudhuri’ as he grows up; Arya’s older avatar is played by ‘Tejashri Pradhan’.
A Zee Studio’s production, the film is produced by Nikhil Sane, Arvind Jog and Pallavi Rajwade.
Going by the trailer the film’s music is peppy and mark our words: Abhinay Berde will make quite a splash in the years to come. Period.
The film is slated to hit cinemas on January 6, 2017.
