Rahul Dev known for his negative roles in Hindi and Marathi films is all set to make an appearance in the Adnan Sheikh directorial debut ‘Rocky’. Rahul when quizzed about accepting the role of a ganglord called Nana revealed that he accepted the role because of his relations with Adnan and executive producer Sunita Tripathi whom he had interacted while making of Leela- Ek Paheli. Rahul enjoyed working in ‘Rocky’ and has learnt Marathi to spout the dialogues in the film. In his opinion the Hindi and South industry is akin to Marathi film industry except that the budgets are low. Rahul will next be seen in a Sunjay Dutt Starrer ‘Torbaaz’ directed by Girish Mallik and a small budget film ‘Army’.

Tejashri Pradhan and Mangesh Desai in lead roles For ‘Judgement’ !
Jyotsna Film Productions ‘Judgement’ has been announced recently. On the occasion snippets of how the film was shot, behind the scenes happenings, and other tit-bits was screened in the video format. Director Sameer Ramesh Surve has a cast comprising of Tejashri Pradhan, Mangesh Desai, and Madhav Abhyankar.
The film is based on former Culture Officer of Government of Maharashtra, Neela Satyanarayan’s novella ‘Runn’. Sameer Ramesh Surve has earlier directed ‘Shri Partner’ based on VA .PU Kales novella ‘Partner’and ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan’. And so there must be a lot of novelty in ‘Judgement’ too. The actress who has made the character of Jaydi memorable on SONY TV in every household namely Kiran Dhane will be now seen in the new SONY MARATHI show again in ‘Ek Hoti Rajkumari’ and the launch of the promo of the show was recently held and Kiran Dhane who has been notable for negative roles will be seen in the role of a dashing policewoman.
The promo shows the father of Kiran ruminating about what the future holds for the princess of his family in a poetic way and the diverse way in which actually the life has in store for the princess. The princess has a troubled life and the brave way which she faces her battles almost coming to failure. ‘Dokyala Shot’ to Release on March 1 !
The much awaited film ‘Dokyala Shot’s trailer launch was held at the hands of Riteish Deshmukh and this event saw the presence of singer Kailash Kher along with Riteish and the music launch of the film was held at the hands of Kailash Kher. The title is very interesting as is the lives of the four youths shown in this film. Suvrat Joshi, Rohit Haldikar, Onkar Goverdhan, and Ganesh Pandit are four very good friends and their hilarious escapades will be the premise for this very funny film ‘Dokyala Shot’ and it will be a complete package of entertainmemt. Abhijeet (Suvrat Joshi) and Subbulaxmi (Prajakta Mali) are in love with each other and on the eve of their impending marriage an unexpected event takes place and changes their lives forever and takes the film to a different level.
The event which changes the lives of Abhijeet and his friends and muddles them and how they get an escape route from the problems is the premise of the film. The friends have to walk on a tightrope of events and the situations which they have to face and how after much hardships they get out of these situations forms the funny part of the film.
