A Nagraj Manjule’s Sairat, has become the highest earner in its first week. Movie has earned 15 Crores in 04 Days. For this Sunday Sairat has earned 05 Crores. The film has minted more than 12 crores in the first three days of the release. Sairat continues to hold strong on the first week of release. Nagraj Manjule’s Sairat has broken all the records of all Marathi movies. Before this Natsamrat has earned 16 Crores and 50 Lacks in first week.

Debut director of Tapaal, Laxman Utekar brings us a new Marathi movie ‘Lalbaghchi Rani’. Recently a trailer of ‘Lalbaughachi Rani’ is launched. Famous actress ‘Veena Jamkar’ playing a lead role for Lalbaughachi Rani. An entertaining life of a peculiar girl missing from her home is a shown in trailer. Initially impressive acting from the movies like ‘Lalbagh Paral’,’Tapal’, ‘Kuthumbh’, ‘Bioscope’ has continued for this movie. In this movie Veena Jamkar playing a role of social child ‘Sandhya Nitin Parulekar’. Sandhya is favorite of all hence given a name ‘Lalbaughachi Rani’.

This Maharashtra Day, Star India all set to launch Star Pravah HD From 01 May 2016.

To celebrate the auspicious occasion of Maharashtra Day, India’s leading media conglomerate Star India welcomes viewers of Marathi general entertainment (MGE) to experience Star Pravah HD.

The move to introduce Star Pravah HD is in line with the objective of enabling viewers of Marathi content to experience the world of high definition television. Now MGE viewers will enjoy World Television Premier of ‘Dagdi Chawl’ with superlative picture quality and great sound in HD at 1:00 p.m.& 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, 1^st May. Among the new shows for Star Pravah viewers, includes a multi-starrer new fiction show ‘Lek Majhi Laadki ’ to be launched on 2nd May at 9:00 p.m. coming up in the same week as Mother’s Day. Lek Majhi Laadki is an emotional story of mother and daughter, who are separated at birth, longing to unite. Maharashtra’s favorite real life couple Aishwarya & Avinash Narkar will be coming together on screen in this show.

Since its inception in 2008, Star Pravah has been at the forefront of entertaining Maharashtrian viewers with culturally relevant stories like the mega historical saga of Raja Shivchatrapati, family dramas like Agnihotra, PudhchaPaaul and Devyani.
