The SECOND LIFE concept was suggested to me by my friend Ajit Chavan. His cousin and my close friend Vishwajeet Chavan dies in a Bike accident when he was 21 years old. He was the only child of his parents. His accident was a huge shock for his family. Even after 3-4 years of his death no one was survived from that shock and I have closely experienced that incident.
How did you research this Topic?
When everyone was busy celebrating festivals at their home, Vishwajeet’s house had the desolate silence. That time Ajit Chavan told me to express the thought in a Short film and we both wanted to reveal the issue in public. While researching on story with the help of Information Department & RTO we came to know many shocking facts.
Short Film means Director Profile or Social Awareness?
In India, the number of people die due to road accidents is far more than people die due to illness. We searched their causes and solutions and from all the details we made our Short film – SECOND LIFE.
The main motto of making this short film was creating an awareness among people. Therefore those who really care for their loved ones will definitely share this short film. As a director, writer SECOND LIFE is just not a project for me, but this has an emotional attachment. Our intention is not to make money from this project.
How was the awareness spread because of this Short Film?
Just because of this Short film if people follow the Traffic Rules and implement it into their life, I will feel that Team SECOND LIFE will get the satisfaction of saving someone’s life and that experience can never be described in words.
How was your Experience in making the film?
The whole Short film was shot in Navi Mumbai’s Koparkhairne & Vashi area. While shooting the main part – riding a bike in full speed we had to complete the shoot in limited equipments. Our aim was that on the roadside no one should get disturbed because of our shoot. Most of the stunts are performed by lead actor Ajay Chavan and Bike stunts are performed by Rohit Patil. And 8-9 actors have worked in this film.
What is finance related to a short film?
Any Director’s Dream is to ensure that his film reaches all the masses. That’s his overall Objective. There is an overall demand to share these kind of short films on Social Media like Facebook, Twitter & Whatsaap. Also, CaféMarathi will be publishing my film YouTube and all their Social Media platforms so I am happy that my film will reaching the audiences and I am sure that they are going to love this short film.
Chirag Patil, who features in Sachin Kundalkar’s upcoming film Vazandar, off screen played the clapper boy for a day on the sets of Vazandar. Apart from playing the character of Omkar in the film, Chirag was also donning the hat of a clapper boy and was giving claps for the scenes which was being shot.
Chirag’s charisma is ruling over millions of hearts. Charming Chirag is playing Sai’s husband in the film and looks extremely good-looking in his character. No wonder all eyes will be on the actor this year…!!

With effective stories and the novelty in handling them, Marathi movies have drawn the attention of cine goers beyond the seven seas. Vishakha Media Works produced and Nikki Batra directed, the movie VALAY with a different and distinct style, celebrated its muhurat with the recording of a song. At the function the artistes and technicians with Hon.Padmashree Guru Afsar Khan were present.
A love song sung by Swapnil Bandhodkar “Tujya Premat man he maje guntle” was recorded on this occasion. Prakash Prabhakar has penned the lyrics and also given the music. Swapnil Bandhodkar believes that the song would definitely touch the hearts of the listeners.

Yes, among a host of other things, this Sachin Kundalkar directorial marks the singing debut of Priya. Sai Tamhankar introduced the beginning of Priya’s singing innings at the event. Golu Polu features Priya Bapat and Siddharth Chandekar, the latter launched the song video. Avinash-Vishwajeet have given the music for the film and Omkar Kulkarni has written the lyrics of this unconventional love song.
The Mumbai event saw all cast members Sai Tamhankar, Priya Bapat, Siddharth Chandekar along with Chetan Chitnis, Chirag Patil, writer-director Sachin Kundalkar, producer Vidhi Kasliwal and other team members of ‘Vazandar’.
Landmarc Films, that produced and presented ‘Sanngto Aika’ in 2014, is back after two years with a fresh new project. Vidhi Kasliwal is a well-recognised name in the film industry. Related to the Barjatya family, she assisted Sooraj R. Barjatya on Rajshri’s ‘Vivah’. She also wrote and directed ‘Isi Life Mein’ in 2010. Now she brings a brand new concept with Vazandar brands of the Marathi Film Industry.
The film has been the talk of the town ever since it’s inception, more than a year ago. And recently its poster and trailer have been making headlines. It is also the film’s cast that has cine goers excited. Apart from the glamorous Sai and Priya, the film features a newcomer Chetan Chitnis, Siddharth Chandekar and Chirag Patil, son of yesteryear cricket star Sandeep Patil, all of whom boast of a strong fan following. So, this is an experience, not just about a ‘Vazandar’ subject, but also about ‘Vazandar’ people.

Nakushi Serial is started on Star Pravah from 10 October and during a very short time period this series has won the heart of viewers. Role of Younger Nakushi is doing actress ‘Prasiddhi Kishor Aayalawar’.
From the 20 October she is going to seen in the role of Nakushi. It is telecasted on Star Pravah on 10 pm and again re-telecasted on Star Pravah at 10 AM and 5PM.
