Huma Qureshi who makes her big South debut with the Malayalam film, White, starring superstar Mammootty ,is already being celebrated down south.
The actress, who despite being relatively new, is immensely popular and also received several film offers from the south industry.
It was also quite recently that she was approached by the organizers of a prestigious award function, scheduled to be held in June, for a performance that very few would turn down.
Huma has been receiving several offers to perform at south functions but nothing that really excited her so far. After the announcement of her starring alongside Mammootty, the actress was approached by award function organizers for a whopping amount for a 5 minute performance.
Says a source, “Amounts like this are normally offered to top south stars and it is definitely a great sign that she has been offered it for a mere 5 minute performance. While she is busy with her movie commitments, Huma is considering the offer since it’s a very prestigious award ceremony”.
Honey Singh shoots at Ushaka aquarium in Durban for his debut film Zoravar. Honey Singh’s debut film Zorawar, as an actor has been shot at unique places like no films have shot before and one of them is Ushaka aquarium in Durban. It’s a first movie to be shot inside Ushaka aquarium. The makers pulled out all strings to shoot the movie at the place as the crew had only two hours to shoot at the venue. A unit hand informs shooting at Ushaka aquarium was an experience to remember as Honey Singh was running late as he had some prior commitment. “The night the shoot happened weather changed and there were thunderstorm and lightning and winds blowing at almost 80 km/hr. Honey arrived just 45 minutes before and finished the shot in one take!,” a unit hand said.Well, it will be interesting to see Ushaka in Zoravar!
Shilpa Shetty Kundra to give lecture on health and fitness at the City Literary Institute in London!
With the launch of her yoga DVD and co-authored book The Great Indian Diet last year, Shilpa Shetty Kundra became synonymous with everything to do with yoga and fitness.
The actress turned businesswoman has been invited to the City Literary Institute in London (UK) for a talk on health, fitness and the success of women in different fields. The event will be held in the month of May.
A source close the actress informs, “Shilpa is very excited about her trip to London and looking forward to share her knowledge with the students at the institute. Having won the British reality television series Celebrity Big Brother 5 (in 2007), Shilpa has a great connect with the country.”
Shilpa says, “I believe that if you’re not healthy, you don’t have anything. For that very reason, maintaining a healthy lifestyle plays a crucial role in a woman’s success. I look forward to talking at the university and sharing my insights on subjects I’m extremely passionate about.”

His mother is of the opinion that her grand daughter Mrudula should know Marathi culture and the lifestyle of a Maharashtrian family and so she is sent to Pune for studies and she meets Abhay and falls in love with him but Abhay is cheating her too and then there occur such events that Mrudula is forced to head back to Mauritius and does Abhay fall in his own making of a trap due to his habit of cheating ? An actor- director who has created a special place in the hearts of Marathi cinema audiences, Ajay Phansekar is bringing to his fans a new film, with a new novel subject called ‘Cheater’.
This Ajay Phansekar directorial venture produced under the banner of Swiss Entertainment Pvt Ltd with producers Furquan Khan, Pradeep ‘Tutu’ Sharma, and producer PravinKumar Udaylal Jain. recently revealed it’s trailer launch with the presence of the lead cast Vaibbhav Tatwawdi, Pooja Sawant, Hrishikesh Joshi, Suhas Joshi, Vrushali Chavan, Jeevan Kalarkar, music director Abhijeet Narvekar, lyricist Akhil Joshi, singers Avdhoot Gupte, Anandi Joshi, and other crew in a glittering function.

At the grand bash of the trailer launch, the director Ajay Phansekar revealed that almost 80% of the film was shot in Mauritius . And I got the full co-operation of the producers, cast and the crew in the making of the film. He added that we had to surmount severe natural hurdles during the shoot of the film and we did it successfully and the genre of this film is different from the other films that I have made and I hope the audiences like my film.
The hero of the film Vaibbhav Tatwawdi says, ” I have played the role of Abhay Agnihotri in the film and and this boy knows only one thing and that is to speak lies, lies, and lies. And my character has shades that have never been seen before in any of my characters.
Pooja Sawant who plays the leading lady in the film spoke her mind on her role saying that her character is called Mrudula but is addressed as Mimo by everyone and I and Vaibhav have worked together after a long time and since my character is different, I enjoyed playing my role in the film.
There are four songs in the film, two sung by Sonu Nigam and Anandi Joshi, and the title track has been sung by Avdhoot Gupte and Urmilla Dhangar has sung a dance song of a folk variety called ‘Jhakri’ and is one of the main attractions of the film .
The DOP is Veteran B Laxman and the music Composer is Abhijeet Narvekar, a fresh new talent and the lyrics are by Akhil Joshi , a young lyricist and VFX effects are the mainstay of the film and are done by Hemant Shinde who has done the impossible possible.
The editor is Vinod Pathak, and art by Swapnil Keni and and choreography by Vrushali Chavan , Amit Baing and the Executive Producer is Sameer Sheikh.
The film of a different genre is set to release on 13 May all over Maharashtra.
