On this occasion producer Jayant Lade under his banner of Lade Brothers Films Pvt Ltd have brought this film ‘Sur Sapata’ in 70 mm in the direction of Mangesh Kanthale which is getting a lot of buzz in the Marathi film industry and the poster has caught the fancy of the audiences. The godfathers of the sport which is true to its soil namely Mr.Sharad Pawar and the chief of Maharashtra Kabaddi Association Mr. Ajit Pawar have got now international recognition for the sport and they unveiled the poster of the film ‘Sur Sapata’ recently . The film which releases on 22 March 2019 will surely be the trendsetter for a spirited game of kabaddi.
Mr.Ajit Dada Pawar said on the occasion , “ The very Indian game of Kabaddi with its quality contests will surely capture the audience’s attention on an international level and the many international contests of the game and the rise in the sportsmen who have taken to the game is surely exemplary”. The film revolves around a few kabaddi players. In the few average students they have, will the teachers spot the talent for quality kabaddi players? There are 25 prominent artistes in the film whose names are kept under wraps. The film has bagged the experience of the highly respected former kabaddi player and Arjuna Award winner Shantaram Jadhav. And the audiences will get to see around 300 operative kabaddi players in the film. The film has story and screenplay by Mangesh Kanthale and Amit Baiche and the dialogue writer too is Amit Baiche. The wide canvas of the film is cinematographed by Vijay Mishra.
