The grand mahurat of ‘Dhondi Champyaa Ek Prem Katha’ was held recently in the august presence of Bharat Jadhav, Vaibhav Mangle, Nikhil Chavan and Sayli Patil and the entire cast and crew. The film is presented by Sunil Jain, Ramesh Agarwal, Cult Entertainment, Fifth Dimension and Rajtaru Studios. The producers of the film are Sunil Jain, Aditya Joshi, Alok Arbind Thakor, Aditya Shastri, Vanessa Roy .
The film is written and directed by Nyanesh Shashikant Bhalekar. The music composers are Saurabh- Durgesh. The DOP is Rajesh Nadone. The art director is Raju Maruti Sapte and the lyrics are by the reputed lyricists Guru Thakur and Mandar Cholkar and the costumes are by Sapna Yadav and the sound designer is Shivraj Chhabra .The entire unit took the blessings of Lord Siddhivinayak and then the mahurat of the film was concluded.
The story of the film is about the enemity between Umaji and Ankush over a frivolous matter and both are prosperous farmers and their family enemity is from a lotof time over the few generations. And they hate the very sight of each other but interestingly the son of Umaji, Aditya and Ovi the daughter of Ankush fall in love giving rise to a precarious situation. But the real fun starts now as Umaji’s cow Champya gets pregnant from Ankush’s bull Dhondi and then the real funny incidents start because of the two warring fathers and their two children in love and how Dhondi and Champyaa try to reunite the warring fathers and help their children in love. How the children succeed in their endeavor will be the watchable situations in he film.
