Movies having different different nature are being produced in Marathi cinema. Though, horror story is something which has remained unexplored in Marathi. Kanika, A ‘Seven Wonder’s Motion Pictures’ production, is being released on 31st March. Director Pushkar Manohar will be starting his journey in directing with this movie.

Himself being a businessman, Pushkar had a liking towards cinema. Through that liking he has made “Kanika” possible. He has put forward a story that goes hand in hand with the ongoings of today’s world. This is a horror story. This is definitely going be a new variety of cinema in Marathi industry. The starcast in the movie are Sharad Ponkshe, Smita Shewale, Chaitrali Gupte, Kamlakar Satpute, Ananda Karekar and Falguni Rajni. Pushkar himself has done the writing of the screenplay of ‘Kanika’. The main peculiarity of this movie is that it doesn’t have even a single song. Sandeep Manohar of ‘Seven words motion pictures’ has produced this movie. The music has been given by Amey Nare, cameraman Chandrasekhar Nagarkar and Kuldeep Mehan has got everything together.

In Marathi there’s only social  or comedy cinemas is a misbelief which prevails among the people. But, apart from this there are many things happening around us which are debatable. We cannot see it’s image in our life. But you cannot deny its presence. In Marathi cinema, a horror story is a new approach. The director, Pushkar Manohar says, ‘ Audience are expected to like and appreciate the work and effort put in this venture.’

Chirag and Kajol’s ‘Love Betting’ in Himalaya

Nowadays Marathi cinema is not anymore restricted to its usual architrave. It is soaring new heights. It’s being shot a various beautiful locations. And the beauty of many new places is being discovered. Similarly, the upcoming movie ‘Love Betting’ of ‘S. N. Films Entertainment’ productions has been shot at Kashi, in Himalayas.
Chirag Patil and Kajol Sharma have played the lead role in ‘Love Betting’. One romantic song from this movie has been shot at Kullu Manali. Solang valley is one among the many places which was recently discovered. ‘Kadhi Kase Mann Guntale, Sarech Vate Mag Maj Sobati’ such are the lyrics of the song which has been shot with Chirag Patil and Kajol Sharma. Being all covered in snow and playing games in the snow made it a very enjoyable experience for the entire unit. While describing their view about the place , Chirag and Kajol say that, it was a beautiful place to fall in love with and we enjoyed our selves a lot. We didn’t even feel like returning home from the beautiful ambiance.

‘Love Betting’ has been produced by Lalchand Sharma and Sunita Sharma and it’s been directed by Raju Meshram. The ups and downs in the journey of ” has been the centre idea of the film. Raju Meshram has done the screenplay and dialogue writing for this movie. Kautuk Shirodkar, Raju Meshram have played the role of a lyricist and Pravin Kunvar has sung the songs in his melodious voice. The videography for ‘Love betting’ has been done by Aniket Khandagale and the apparel’s have been taken care by Poonam Chalke and Anil Vath has played the role of an art director.

‘Blue Jean Blues’ will light up the way between Disappointment and Excitement.

In today’s tech-savvy world the youth is always competitive, due to their increasing wants, dreams and immediate results attitude they suffer from depression too soon. Especially, the depression due to relationship failures break them down completely. We will be seeing the story of todays youth and such broken hearts in the upcoming movie ‘Blue Jean Blues‘. This movie which has been directed by Dr. Nitin Mahajan focuses on the challenges faced by the youth mentality. Eventhough this movie revolves around a depressed youth , the role of Ashwini Ekbote will aflame many souls.
Dr. Nitin Mahajan has not only directed the film, but he has also written and produced it. When asked about his view about the movie ; he said, ” The movie has tried to project the ups and downs in life. If something happens against our will we feel disappointed. This hurting of soul is much more intense than external injuries, because it directly affects our lifestyle and pursuit. Hence , before making any rash decisions we should give ourselves sometime,  consult with other experienced people and thus we can try to avoid the disappointment’. This movie is an encouragement for the disheartened youth.

The lead cast in this movie are Raj Thakur , Shweta Bist, Dr. Sanjeevkumar Patil , Radhika Deshmukh and Ashwini Ekbote. The speciality about this movie is that this movie has gained fame not only internationally , but also intercontinentally. Last year this movie bagged a prize for being the best self funded cinema in the Cine porb film festival held in Mexico. Similarly, ‘Blue jean Blues’ movie has gained a good publicity and positive reviews after presenting its previews in various film festivals held in Barcelona planet, Miami and Los Angeles.
