Zee Marathi launches Musical Extravaganza ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – GhePanga Kar Danga’

Themed as ‘Ghe Panga, Kar Danga’, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa gives Marathi musical talent from Maharashtra and Goa the perfect platform to showcase their singing prowess and wow audiences. As challenges galore raise the bar on entertainment, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, this season, will be judged by ace director Ravi Jadhav and chartbusting singer Bela Shende. Urging the contestants to put their best foot forward at every stage of the competition will be host Rohit Raut who will motivate and inspire them. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa will go on-air on 13^th November 2017 at 9:30 PM and will air every Monday and Tuesday on Zee Marathi.

A widely acclaimed show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa illustrates the raw singing talent that makes Maharashtra the ultimate powerhouse. Providing a platform for the singers willing to go the extra mile to pursue a career in music, this edition of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa will be bigger, better and grander than ever before. Through the theme ‘GhePanga, Kar Danga’, the show promises to create tons of surprises for contestants and viewers alike. Auditions for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa have been conducted in 6 markets including Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur and Goa urging budding singers between 16-30 years of age to live their dreams. From every market, 10 singers will be shortlisted to travel to Mumbai for the final auditions of which 24 handpicked contestants will proceed to the Galas. These contestants will undergo a series of challenges and musical tests from which the ultimate winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa will be selected.

Judging the show this season will be popular film director Ravi Jadhav and multiple award-winning Marathi singer Bela Shende. Joining the celebrity brigade as the show’s host is young singer Rohit Raut.

Swwapnil Joshi turns Producer with ‘Nakalat Saare Ghadle’

After having left a lasting impression with numerous roles in movies and television, Swwapnil Joshi is all set to turn producer. Yes, the heartthrob of the Marathi industry will be producing an upcoming TV show titled, Nakalat Saare Ghadle which will premiere on Star Pravah on 27th November, 2017.

The lovely promo of the show gives us a glimpse of the cute love story that will be telecast soon. The promo is already a hit on social media and the fans as well as the stars can’t stop talking about it.

Daily soaps with a hatke story has been Star Pravaha’s trademark and ‘Nakalat Saare Ghadle’ is in the same mould. The promos seem fresh and promise a romance which is anything run of the mill. It’s about the delicate relationship between a young girl, her father and lady doctor. The shows stars Harish Dudhade and Nupur Parulekar in the lead role along with child actor Sanvi Ratnalikar. The details of the plot have still been kept under wraps.

Swwapnil has joined hands with Arjun Singh Baran and Kartik Nishandar of GSEAMS to produce the daily soap.

Talking about his debut as a producer he said, “Me and Star Pravah go back a long way, so I was rather keen to produce a TV serial with them. People have showered me with a lot of love for me acting. I am sure they will show the same love to ‘Nakalat Saare Ghadle’ as well.”

Hampi will Make You Fall in Love With Yourself!

“A beautiful city can make our life beautiful, too. Some places our indeed so charming, but only the company of people will make that place memorable.” – the upcoming film ‘Hampi’ is based on this gorgeous thought. The historic city of Hampi will be treated like a character in the film. It is indeed ideas like these that has raised Marathi cinema to their high current standards.

The poster and the teaser of Hampi have already gone viral on the internet, courtesy it’s fresh and glamorous looks. The trailer and music of the film was recently launched with much fanfare. While Vaibhav Joshi and Onkar Kulkarni have penned the lyrics, Narendra Bhide and Aditya Bedekar have put them to music.

In the film, a rather disappointed and lost Isha (Sonalee Kulkarni), comes for a nice getaway at Hampi which ends up changing her life forever.

Now, whether Hampi is a love story or a story about falling in love with yourself, or a fine blend of the two – that will be answered by Aditi Moghe’s lovely screenplay and Prakash Kunte’s deft direction. Kunte’s previous films were loved by one and all, so Hampi is being eagerly awaited by his fans.

The film has a solid star cast comprising Sonalee Kulkarni, Priyadarshan Jadhav, Prajakta Mali, Lalit Prabhakar and Chhaya Kadam. The background score is composed by Aditya Bedekar, while ace cinematographer Amalendhu Chaudhary has brought the frames to life with his exceptional work. Noted choreographer Phulwa Khamkar has set the dances in the film.

‘Hampi’ has been produced by ‘Swaroop Samarth Entertainment’ and presented by Amol Joshi Productions, Swarup Recreations & Media Pvt. Ltd. Akash Pendharkar, Sayali Joshi, Sachin Narkar and Vikas Pawar. The film which will release in the whole of Maharashtra on 17th November, will not only entertain but also give the audience a nice tour of Hampi.

An Announcement of Upcoming Marathi Movie – Radhe Murari

The massive popularity earned by the film ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’, which released way back on 12th April 1996, still hasn’t faded away. A sequel to the superhit film was announced by its producer Mansoor Ahmed Siddiqui at a recent glamorous event, a whole 21 years after it was first released in the theatres. Along with this film, the announcement of another Marathi film titled ‘Radhe Murari’ was also made at the ceremony.

Saajan Chale Sasural 2 will be written and directed by N. N. Siddiqui and will be produced by the collaboration of Anas Films and A.A. Brothers. The story and screenplay of the film is complete and artists like Uday Tikekar, south actor Gulu Dada and Sonal Monteirio have already been cast in important roles. The lead cast, crew and other members of the technical team will be announced soon.

‘Radhe Murari’ will also have N.N Siddiqui donning the director’s hat. Amit Ryan Patil, Gaurav Ghatnekar, Uday Tikekar and Dipali Sayyed will be seen in lead roles in the film. The shooting of both the films will begin shortly. In the meanwhile, N. N. Siddiqui’s upcoming film ‘Hero’ is ready for release.

Mansoor Ahmed Siddiqui is also known for producing films like Rang, Taakat and Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya, along with Sajan Chale Sasural. The David Dhawan directed 90s film had numerous hit songs like ‘Ram Narayan Baaja Bajata’, ‘Dil Jaan Jigar Tujhpe Nisar’, ‘Bye Bye Miss Goodnight’etc. Siddiqui has promised that the sequel too will be a musical treat for film lovers.

Actor, directorand creative producer Adinath Kothare talks about his journey in entertainmentindustry, how he stumbled upon various facets of production and his most ambitious project ‘Vithu Mauli’ coming up on Star Pravah
Take us through your journey in Entertainment industry.
Which was the turning point in your career?
My journey in the entertainment industry started as a child artistin a film ‘Maza Chakula’ which was directed by my father.Interestingly, I won the state award for best child actor for that movie. It was a very proud moment for the entire family though as a kid I did not realize the importance of all this. However, this sweet memory got imprinted for life. As I grew up, education was a priority;hence Icompleted my graduation in Biotechnology and MBA in finance. After that I had stints with Pritish Nandy Communications, Manmohan Shetty, Walkwater Media and PVR Cinemas.Then I produced my first TV show ‘Man Udhan Varyache’ in 2009 which was aired on Star Pravah.
Please share amemorable incident from your life.

I had assisted my father in a couple of films. I made short films and I was waiting for life to go about. I was all geared up to get into Direction. Acting,for me, was not planned, it happened to me on the way.One day suddenly my dad came up to me with an interesting script. I heard it and I was blown away by it. My dad asked me ‘Do you want to audition?’ He was searching for the main lead for this film but was not finding anyone suitable. Since I acted in my childhood, it was somewhere deep down in me. In acting once you taste blood, you never look back. I thought this is the right moment if I want to become an actor.This is the ideal kind of role I would love to debut with. I went with the flow and auditioned for the role and the producers just loved it. Thus,‘Ved Lavi Jeeva’ became my debut film. Since then my beautiful journey in acting continues and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I have been fortunate to get to perform different characters. So far I have done over 15 Marathi films.
What sort of research did you conduct for your upcoming show ‘Vithu Mauli’?

Kothare Vision is passionate about film making. We go out of our way to entertain the audience. For Vithu Mauli, we did year round of research. We have spent many days in Pandharpur, Alandi, Pune talking to experts. We have got some important scholars on board to guide us. All these efforts have translated into beautiful screenplay and storyline for the show Vithu Mauli which we all are sure that audience will love. We thank Star Pravah for the kind of confidence and trust shown in us. Star Pravah and Kothare Vision are working as a team to make this show the greatest show on Marathi TV. I am sure our efforts will be appreciated by the audience of Maharashtra.
What makes ‘Vithu Mauli’ a unique mytho serial?

At Kothare Vision, we believe in setting bigger challenges and breaking our records.We do something different every time in our every project. We made the cult mytho show Jai Malhar. We then produced Ganpati Bappa Morya which was bigger than Jai Malhar. We are now coming up ‘Vithu Mauli’ the biggest mytho show on Marathi Television. This will be broadcast on Star Pravah. This show is our dream project. Just like Lord Vitthal, the production is going to be larger than life. Vitthal is Maharashtra’s favorite deity. His devotees are spread across the World. In fact, Vitthal is such a God whose followers are not restricted to one religion. Vitthal as deity is a beautiful example of secularism and unity which brings people together. Story of Vitthal is really fascinating. We have the best team available which includes writers, DOP, VFX and entire production crew. We all are extremely gung-ho about it. Work is going on in full swing. Vithu will descend in every Maharashtrian household from 30th October onwards on Star Pravah at 7 pm Monday to Saturday.
What are your forthcoming projects?

My direction is on cards. I always wanted to do a film on water crisis in our country. The film is tentatively titled ‘Paani’. This project will roll out soon. As an actor, my upcoming film is titled as ‘Take Care Good Night’ Directed by Girish Joshi and produced by Mahesh Manjrekar. It has been selected at MAMI film festival. Of course, my most ambitious role is of a Creative Producer with Vithu Mauli on Star Pravah. Hoping for the best. Jai Hari Vitthal!

Tujhyat Jeev Rangla Bags Top Honours At The Prestigious Zee Marathi Awards

Zee Marathi which is an extremely popular channel in Maharashtra recently completed 18 years. The completion of 18 years also marks a new start for the channel. Precisely that’s why the channel focused on relationships, their freshness and youthfulness in this year’s edition of Zee Marathi Awards which was concluded in a grand manner. The serial Lagira Zhala Ji bagged as many as 10 awards including the top honours. It was followed closely by the serial Tujhyat Jeev Rangala which won 7 awards and left an indelible impression in the ceremony. The awards function that hands out awards based on public’s votes every saw this year too audiences vote in large numbers. The voting which was conducted in 22 cities of Maharashtra saw audiences vote through facebook, the Zee Marathi website and missed calls. And as many as 12 lakh votes were collected through this.

Some power packed by performances by the lead actors of Zee Marathi’s serials, coupled with the star power and hilarious antics of Chala Hawa Yeu Dya’s actors and the speeches of actors Sanjay Mone and Atul Parchure helped the event to scale new heights. This grand event that was conducted among some great enthusiasm and high octane energy will be aired on Sunday 15^th October at 7 P.M IST on Zee Marathi and Zee Marathi HD.

As the festive season of Diwali nears, audiences are piqued with immense curiosity regarding Zee Marathi Awards. Who will bag the top honors? Trailer Of Riteish Deshmukh’s Faster Fene Starring Amey Wagh Launched On Social Media
Produced by Ritesh Vilasrao Deshmukh and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Faster Fene is a cinematic adaptation of B.R Bhagwat iconic literary character. The film which stars Amey Wagh in the titular role is the story of a boy who aspires to be a detective and solve crime cases.

The trailer of the film sees Wagh’s Fene convince Dilip Prabhavalkar to solve a bank robbery case. And just as he seems to have cracked it, Banesh Fene a.k.a Faster Fene seems to be posed with the case of a young boy’s murder. But nothing is what it seems and Fene soon finds himself surrounded by several challenges that point to a bigger conspiracy. And his attempts to uncover the killer’s identity combined with the other challenges pose a threat to his life by forces that are far more powerful than he ever imagined.

Kshitij Patwardhan has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film. The film is edited by Imran and Faisal Mahadik. The film’s cinematography is handled by Milind Jog and Nikhil Kovale has done the art direction.

The film also stars Parna Pethe, Shubham More and Girish Kulkarni in pivotal roles. Faster Fene is the third Marathi film to be produced by Riteish Deshmukh after Balak Palak and the National Award winner Yellow. The film has been produced by Deshmukh’s banner Mumbai Film Company in association with Zee Talkies.

The teasers and trailer of Faster Fene are intriguing and have aroused sufficient curiosity regarding the film. It remains to be seen whether the film lives up to the reputation of B.R. Bhagwat’s iconic literary character or not.
