Sachin Abhinay off to Switzerland Shooting of Ashi hi Ashiqui in its final stage

Sachin Pilgaonkar’s promise of gifting a new movie to his fans on his 60th birthday, has reached the final stage and the crew will be shooting couple of songs and some part of the film in Switzerland. Sachin Pilgaonkar is the first director to shoot his Marathi movie in the picturesque environment of Switzerland. As the name itself contains the word ‘Ashiqui’, young and fresh love-story will be presented and charming Abhinay Berde will don the colours of ‘Ashiqui’ for us. This movie will mark debut of a promising new female lead who will make Abhinay fall in love in the movie.

Sachin Pilgaonkar, while sharing his selfies with Abhinay on social media says, while shooting of ‘Ashi hi Ashiqui‘, presence of Abhinay on the sets reminded him of the days spent with Lakshmikant Berde during the shoot of ‘Ashi hi Banvabanvi’. This film will be screened on December 14th and will be another great love story in this year.

An interesting aspect of this film is that Sachin Pilgaonkar, whom we have seen as an actor, writer, director, singer and producer, will now be seen in the role of music director. For last many years, he has entertained audiences with his unique style of direction. And now, after a gap of five years, we will once again witness his directorial prowess. Along with directing the movie and it’s music he has written the story, script and dialogues for the movie.

Select Media Holdings and T-Series production, ‘Ashi hi Ashiqui’ is co-produced by Sushriya Chitra and Vazir Sinha, Joe Rajan and Supriya Pilgaonkar are the makers of the film.

So far, 21 films have been directed by Sachin Pilgaonkar and for the first time he will showcase aspects of love through this film. It will be a delight to the audiences to see the new style of Sachin, who is bestowed with evergreen personality.

Actress 'Prajakta Gaikwad' Learns Horse Riding and Swordplay for a TV series !

“Swarajya Rakshak Sambhaji” is a very popular currently broadcasted on Zee Marathi. In this serial, along with the lead character of Sambahji Maharaj and other important ones, Yesubai is also becoming a very popular among the viewers. Prajakta Gaikwad is portraying this character and she had to train herself in horse riding and swordplay for the shoot of this serial. Prajakta was trained for horse riding just 15 days before filming for the serial started and when she went to Pune after her look test, she completed training for swordplay within 8 days.

While speaking about her experience, she said, “As all know that the character of Yesubai being portrayed by me has an expertise in horse riding and swordplay. Yesubai was not only aware of these art forms but she was a accomplished at those too. So, it was a big responsibility on me while presenting these skills on small screen. I fear animals a lot but my entry in this serial itself was with a horse and I riding it.

First day, when I started with the training, I was frightened even to touch a horse as all of them were much taller but later on I learnt it slowly and in the first scene itself I was able to show my skills with horses. These horses were trained and they knew where to start and where to stop. However, when they got an open space, they started running all over the sets and the complete unit had to field to stop them. There was one scene where Shambhu raje and Yesubai had come to take a stroll. For some reasons, Yesubai was unhappy with Shambhu raje so she rides faster leaving him behind.

My horse had gone out of the frame and took a complete round to that area. Within 8 days after my looktest, I had learned all the aspects of sword play. Slowly slowly, I learned gestures and body language of Yesubai while swordplay. During swordplay, we would get small small injuries but the complete unit is always ready to take care of it.

Once the take is okay, we all feel good that we will be witnessing something nice on the screens.”

Romantic Musical Love Story 'Jhing Premachi' Releasing on 29th June

Love is an universal language and the same could be witnessed in almost all the movies made across the world. Indian movies especially Hindi movies thrive on the emotion Love. People in love get so much engrossed in the feeling and with each other that they are unaware of the things happening around them. They get intoxicated with the emotion that they feel everyone around them is an angel and the world around them is beautiful. Taking this feeling of intoxication in love further a Marathi movie is being made with a title ‘Jhing Premachi.

‘Jhing Premachi’ is being produced by Vijaykumar Sapkal under the banner Vijay Usha and this love story is being directed by Shahid Khan for Viewfinder Production. Shahid Khan is an eminent writer in Bollywood and he is debuting as a director with this Marathi film. Also he has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of this movie. Since the movie is a musical love story, music plays an integral and pivotal part. The lilting music is composed by Mahesh-Rakesh and lyrics are by Vijay Gamre and Shahid Khan. The film has five songs with different genres out of which a Sufi song will be well received during the upcoming Ramzan Eid.

‘Jhing Premachi’ can boast of unique locations appearing for the first time in a Marathi movie. Songs are pictured at Taj Mahal, which features in the seven wonders of the world and considered an epitome of love, and the famous Red Fort. These historical places lend depth to the concept of love depicted in the movie and also it will be a treat for viewers.
Deepak and Jyoti, two lovebird of the village, madly falls in love with each other but their love is never accepted in village, society, not even in their home. A womanizer and alcoholic guy Ravikant from the same village wants Jyoti to fulfil his own pleasures. For that Ravikant started spreading bad rumors of their love affair in the village. both families get very much disturbed by this rumour and instead of supporting their children, their father goes against their love and hammer their thoughts on their children but Deepak and Jyoti couldn’t agree with their parents. They want to be in love forever. Jyoti’s brother Vishal comes to their support and suggest they should elope and start new life in another city. But destiny had written something else in their life. What happens to Deepak and Jyoti’s love story is the story of this film.

Sandesh Gaur and Sheetal Tiwari are debuting in a Marathi film. They have done considerable amount of work in Hindi entertainment industry and now are longing for the traditional Marathi audiences’ appreciation. Ranjeet Jog, Smita Pawar, Mohaq Kansara, Mrulalini Jamble, Amol Chaudhary, Anil More, Ratan Somvare, Jairam Shahu, Vipul Deshpande, Popatrao Chavan, Diipjyoti Naik, Smruti Patkar and Ganesh Yadav lend good support in important roles. Cinematography is by Jai Nandan Kumar and sound designing is by Shailesh Sapkal. Umashankar Mishra (Viky) is the editor and choreography is by Rajesh Rane and Preetpal Gill (Monty). Presentor K C. Bokadiya and Producer Sohan Bokadiya with Director Gajendra Ahire, under the banner of Suresh Gunde’s Arihant Film Production house, the poster and trailer of film “Sohala” was recently launched in hotel Sea Princess situated in Juhu by Zee Etc channel’s
Komal Nahata. On this occasion the whole team of Sohala was present.

While talking to press, Presentor K C. Bokadiya said, “This is my first Marathi film and I have presented a film which has a very sensitive topic and I am sure that audience will love the film and its content for sure.” National award winner Gajendra Ahire is the Director of the film. Most importantly Evergreen Star Sachin Pilgaonkar and Shilpa Tulsikar are the leads in the film. With them the star cast includes Vikram Gokhale, Mohan Joshi, Lokesh Gupte, Bharat Ganeshpure and Astha Khamkar with other members whose role has an important impact on the film.
