John Abraham, who has created a huge fan following during his journey from a successful model to a legendary actor. And now he is looking forward towards Marathi film industry too. His love for Marathi movies like other Marathi actors has made him produce a Marathi movie. John has now taken the responsibility of producing a Marathi film based on the Marathi play ‘Savita Damodar Paranjape‘ which was a big hit on Marathi theatre in 80’s.

The play ‘Savita Damodar Paranjape’, directed by Shekhar Tamhane, was staged in theatre in 1985. The lead roles played by Rajan Tamhane and Reema Lagu in this play were virtually obsessed by the audience. Acting, direction, presentation, background music and a tremendous sense of humor, was applauded by the audience of that time. To get that experience and feel to the today’s generation, the play ‘Savita Damodar Paranjape’ is coming out in the form of a movie.

J. A Entertainment and Panorama Studio’s presentation ‘Savita Damodar Paranjape’ will be produced by John Abraham. Swapna Waghmare-Joshi is the director of this film. Marathi actor Subodh Bhave plays a lead role in the film. Trupti Toradmal and Rakesh Bapat are his co-actors in the film. Shirish Latkar has written this film, and Nilesh Moharir and Amit Raj have given a beautiful music to the film.

‘Savita Damodar Paranjape’ is coming on the screens for the audience on 31st August .
