Braveheart Marathi Movie Selected In Third Eye Asian Film Festival

On Silver Screen various movies are going to be produced based on various innovative topics. Bengali Experienced Director ‘Das Babu’, brings an upcoming Marathi Movie ‘BraveHeart – Jidda Jagnyachi ‘ based on a true story. Nikhil films presents, ‘BraveHeart’ is selected in 15th Third Eye Asian Film Festival, which is going to start from 15 to 22 December 2016 at Mumbai.

Director Daasbabu has already directed popular Marathi serials like ‘Ladha’, ‘Shrimantachi Lek’, ‘He Bandh Reshmache’, ‘Ek Dhaga Sukhacha’ along with Marathi Movie ‘Tahaan’. BraveHeart is a story of indomitable willpower and determinant boy. The movie is produced by Sacchidananad Gopinath Karkhanis and Santosh Yashwant Mikashi. Screenplay, dialogues and lyrics by Shrikant Bojewar while music is given by Arnab Chatterjee. Background music is given by ‘Amar Mohile’ and resposibility of Executive producer is handled by ‘Prashant Shamrao Pawar.’

The movie starring Young pair Sangram Samel & Dhanshree Kadagaonkar with Arun Nalawade, Atul Parchure, Sulabha Deshpande, Kishore Pradhan, Dr. Vilas Ujavane, Vijay Chavan, Ila Bhate, Abhay Kulkarni, Shama Ninave, Atharva Talavelakar, Swaamikumar Banavalikar. The movie is expected to release soon and it will be enjoyed in Film festival before release.

Plot Outline –

Gokul Joshi migrates from a small and peaceful town of Pune to the bustling metropolis of Mumbai with a hope for a better life.

Bollywood Actor Vivek Oberoi To Act In A Marathi Film?

Vivek Oberoi, who is currently working on the biopic of former underworld don Muthappa Rai titled Rai, is likely to venture into regional cinema and act in a Marathi project.

According to sources, Riteish Deshmukh narrated the script of a Marathi film to Vivek recently. “Vivek is touched by the gesture of his Masti co-star and liked the script too. If things work out, he may agree to do the film.”

“Vivek, who is doing a web series and a Tamil project too, is keen on dabbling into various territories. Being a huge fan of Marathi cinema, he always wanted to be part of good content-driven Marathi films,” the source adds.

Vivek confirms, “Riteish has narrated a script to me. I liked it. So let’s see.” On his love for Marathi cinema, the large-hearted actor adds, “I’ve been watching Marathi cinema, more so lately. I see a lot of good content being made and promoted, which is great for Indian cinema as a whole. I have always been a big admirer of Marathi cinema for its meaningful stories and substantial content.”

Plot Outline :

Janaki, a divorcee trying to find meaning of life in a sea-turtle conservation project run by the conservationist Dattabhau in a coastal village, accidentally meets an young man. Janaki, with her empathy for the young man, Manav, tries to create a non-judgmental, non-intrusive, warm atmosphere to help him bloom. Janaki herself, her driver-assistant Yadu, conservationist Dattabhau, servant Bablya and street-kid Parshu – none of them not related to each other – become the vulnerable young Manav’s support system.

Story :

A mother sea-turtle has to return to the waters leaving the eggs for nesting on the shore. If the nests are protected, the baby turtles come out and go into the deep waters on their own! Nonviolent, non-aggressive turtle is a metaphor and much more…

The government’s decision to declare Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes void, has left everyone baffled. People queuing up outside banks to exchange the notes or finding novel ways to spend them has become a daily occurence. These methods are still in use and a lot of people are under pressure of disclosing their unaacounted wealth. The decision has put these people in a fix and the victims also include Nisha and her mother, from the TV serial ‘Kahe Diya Pardes’.

In order to fulfill the conditions that Shiv’s mother had set and to get their daughter Gauri married off properly, Madhusudan Sawant had taken a loan. Taking advantage of his vulnerable condition, Madhusudan’s daughter-in-law Nisha sells their house to Appa. Though this act of hers leaves the Sawants shocked, Nisha’s husband Nachiket takes her side and even announces that she is innocent.

On the other hand, Nisha hides the Rs 70 lakh taken from Appa in her mother’s house in the hope that this money will fulfill all her wishes and desires. But the note band has affected Nisha and her mother’s dreams.Now, if they disclose the amount, their foul play will be out in the open and this fear has prompted the duo to find ways of converting the black money into white.

They are scouting marketplaces to see if anyone accepts the banned notes. But Shiv and Ajji know of Nisha’s doing and they are planning to expose her so that Nachiket also comes to know what has happened. Nisha’s efforts to exchange the notes and Shiv’s mastermind plan of exposing her will be screeed in the next few episodes of ‘Kahe Diya Pardes’. The show will also tell viewers of the plight of people who have black money.

When Nisha’s story went viral
Following the note ban, a lot of jokes were doing the rounds on WhatsApp and other social networking sites. Many of these were about Nisha and her current situation. Many of these jokes were about what will Nisha do with the Rs 70 lakh now and how will she turn it into white money. To know more, watch ‘Kahe Diya Pardes’ from Monday to Saturday on Zee Marathi at 9 pm.

Fugay Release Postponed Due To Cash Crunch

On the heels of the government’s decision to ban Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes in the country, the entertainment sector has suffered losses. Many films have been postponed due to the cash crunch and the latest to join the list is the Marathi film ‘Fugay’. Initially supposed to release of December 2, the film release has been postponed by a few weeks.

The movie is produced by Ashwin Anchan, Anuradha Joshi of MAAY Productions and Kartik Nishandar and Arjun Singgh Baran from GSEAMS, Fugay features Swwapnil Joshi and Subodh Bhave. The decision to postpone the release has been taken in order to avoid inconvenience for the viewers. “The cash crunch has hit all fields and we are suffering losses too. But because this decision is for the betterment of the country, we support it fully. However, we don’t feel that the viewers should bear the brunt and hence are delaying the release by a while,” informed Arjun. “While people are busy getting usable currency, it’s not fair to make them go through the trouble of booking tickets right now,” he added.

Despite the promotional activities having begun for this presentation by STV Networks’ Inder Raj Kapoor, the makers have decided to release the film later and the decision is welcome. The film, directed by Swapna Waghmare Joshi, will be the first time that Swwapnil and Subodh will be seen together onscreen.
