Pooja will be named as Best Actress for the most prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award, in an event which is being organized by Smile Foundation, on the eve of celebrating 149th birth anniversary of Father of Indian cinemas – Dadasaheb Phalke.
Pooja will be awarded with the award at St. Andrews Auditorium in Bandra on April 21.
The award, awarded by Smile Foundation, is given by the family members of Dadasaheb Phalke to the talented and successful artist for their performance every year. Accordingly, this year, the honor was given to ‘Lapachaapi’.
