Naal’ makes a splash at the box office! 14 Crores collections in the first week!
A Zee presentation in collaboration with Nagraj Manjule and directed by Sudhakar Reddy, ‘Naal’ has the audiences in a tizzy with almost all shows full and the audience appreciation has helped the film to collect 14 crores at the box-office in the first week. The successful
trend has continued in the second week too and the audience has left the theaters very impressed with the film. The social network sites are agog with the success of the film especially with the performance of the child star Shrinivas Pokle who plays Chaitu in the film. ‘Naal’s’ collection of 14crs is the second best after the collections of ‘Sairat’ and has created a record with successful collections in cities like Pune, Nasik, Kolhapur, Aurangabad and many other cities. And the film has also released in basically South centres where Tamil and Malayalam films rule the roost in Bangalore and Chennai.
The proud director Sudhakar Reddy says, ‘ To make ‘Naal’ was my dream and it was my dream to make the film touch the hearts of the audiences and looking at the box-office collections , we are happy that my dream has come true”. It has gladdened the hearts of my crew and me”. The producer of ‘Naal’ and actor Nagraj Manjule says “ To portray the
life of common man on screen in the common language of a simple story told sensitively has made the audiences identify the drama and make the film a huge success. And it reiterates the fact that Marathi audiences always appreciates good cinema. And I thank the taste of the Marathi audiences that they have hugely appreciated a film like ‘Naal’.
The sense of enlightenment has grasped the very hearts of the Marathi audiences and the film is running in 450 theaters all over Maharashtra in the second week and 11000 shows are entertaining the audiences.
