Marathi films are not only the toast of audiences in India but also worldwide. But when Marathi cinema was going through a transition Mahesh Manjrekar had really stunned the audiences with his successful film ‘De Dhakka’. The film had grossed more than 10 crores in 2008 and now another Dhakka film is set to entertain the audiences after 11 years produced and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by co-producer Amey Khopkar which will release on 3rd January 2020.
The poster of the film was launched recently on the social media. The producers are Amey Khopkar Entertainment and Skylink Entertainment’s Yatin Jadhav and Swati Khopkar.The co-producers are Ninad Nandkumar Buttin and Tabret Patel. Karmika Tandon and and Vishisht Duseja are the associate producers. The directors of De Dhakka-2 are Mahesh Manjrekar and Sudesh Manjrekar. But the cast has not been revealed yet other than Siddharth Jadhav, Makarand Annaspure, Shivaji Satam and Medha Manjrekar from the earlier De Dhakka. The poster has Welcome to London inscribed on it. Therefore there will certainly be a London connection to the film. What it will be ; we have to wait till the release of the film to know. The films poster is very colorful and interesting . Therefore the film will be a blockbuster as understood from the colorful poster without any doubt.
