This serial is based on hospital’s work and an intern who is engrossed in studies and wishes to become a doctor such is the story of Anjali. In this serial lead with the name of Anjali is Suruchi Addakar along side Harshad Atkari, Rajan Bhise, Resham Shreewardhankar, Abhishek Gavkar, Bhakti Desai, Uma Sardeshmukh, Yogesh Soman, Meena Sonawne, Umesh Thakur, Sanket Dev , Archana Dane such new old artist’s army is there.
Suruchi Addakar also known as Anjali Shirsagar is a confident young girl from a small village near Nashik. She’s very simple, smart and lovable and everyone adores her. She doesn’t like to hurt anyone. She has two main reasons behind being a doctor that is one to fulfill her father’s dream and second to start a “Mobile Hospital” in places where hospital facilities are scarce. Holding these dreams close to her she has come to the city to continue her further studies. She starts interning at famous Dr. Janardan Khanapurkar’s (Rajan Bhise) hospital. Along with her Anuradha and Onkar too enroll for internship. In this hospital itself Janardan Khanapurkar’s intelligent and well versed surgeon daughter Dr. Yashasvi Khanapurkar is an America return doctor and she’s handling the work of the hospital. Even though she’s an excellent doctor she is very business oriented. She wants to make a very big hospital which is full of various new emerging technologies. Between Anjali’s principles and Yashasvi’s dreams who will win is shown in this serial.
“Anjali” is the first marathi serial which puts light on various events from the hospital. How does Anjali go through the journey of interning and then becoming a doctor will be an unique experience to watch.
This series’ conceptualization is completely of Zee Yuva. Parag Kulkarni has done the story writing of this serial. ‘Dagadi Chawl’ fame director Chandrakant Kanase has directed this serial. The title track has been given by Ventilator Movie’s Music Director ” Rohan Rohan” and has been sung by Rohan Pradhan. Sanjay Jadhav’s Dreaming 24/7 Entertainment has done the production of this serial.
