A NEW TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCE ‘ACCESSIBILITY FORMAT’ IN AN UNIQUE EXPERIMENT IN THE FILM!
The film ‘Chaurya’ directed by Sameer Asha Patil and produced by Nilesh Navalakha of Navalakha Arts and Vivek Kajariya of Holy Basil Productions and Ashwini Patil of Cineleela Talkies and co-produced by Rajan Amle had its music release function at the hands of Smt Kamala Mehta Blind School, headed by Mrs. Supriya Ajgaonkar and her blind students with the presence of the entire cast and crew in a grand glittering function in Mumbai.
The story of the film is about a village where the villagers believe in keeping their doors open at all times since they believe the God of their temple will punish the robbers instantly and make then return their looted booty but one day a really big dacoity takes place in the village and then the film is full of secrets and suspense which is nail-biting. This is the scenario of this very interesting film.
A lot of hard work has gone in the film from Sameer Asha Patil along with his associates. music director Mayur Kelkar whose music score is really admirable. We have always tried to give the audience something different and so this time we have the Accessibility Format in a Marathi film for the first time with the help of our friend Ashay Sahastrabude who has done a P.HD in this and he is work in on our film at this moment. This experiment has not been done ever in Bollywood and this is a first for Marathi cinema which is commendable. Because of this technical advancement, the blind and deaf and physically challenged audience will also be able to enjoy the film like a normal common man as said by Nilesh Navlakha.
Sameer Asha Patil Says, “ this is my first Marathi film and with the help of my producers whose interest in film production helped me to make my first Marathi film and with the creativity of my technicians and rest of the crew the film has been made in an interesting way. this is the first Marathi film to be shot in the dreaded Chambal area of Rajasthan.
I am working on this film from the day one so I knew about the characters in the film and we created the title song of the film first.Then we returned to the rest of the three songs for composition. These songs were recorded with the voice of Aadarsh Shinde, Urmilla Dhangar and Dr. Ganesh Chandanshive and the lyrics are by Sameer Asha Patil , Shankarrao Dhamnikar and Vishnu Thore. All the three songs are of a different genre and will be liked by the masses”, says music composer Mayuresh Kelkar.
This film has been presented by Navlakha Arts and Sadhana Cinema in collaboration. The film stars Kishore Kadam, Ganesh Yadav, Pradeep Velankar, Milind Shinde, Digvijay Rohidas, Dinesh Lata Shetty, Jayesh Sanghavi, Tirrtha Murbadkar, Shruti Kulkarni. The DOP’S are duo Srishal Hiremath and Jitendra Pandit and editing is by Ketan Madivale. Raj Dagar is the art director while choreography is by Ganesh Chandanshive and Bhakti Naik.
Thus the secret of this chilling suspense film will be revealed when the film releases on 5 August!
