“PARTU” bags AMMONITE AWARD at Canadian Film Festival

Hidden Gems Film Festival honors “PARTU”

Based on a different type of a true story and exhibiting unique emotional values the film “PARTU” in Marathi produced by eminent East West Films from Hollywood has been honored with 2016 AMMONITE AWARD for the Best Film at the Hidden gems film Festival, Canada. Director of the film Mr. Nitin Adsul was honored with Ammonite Award crafted from rare stone.

Gem of an AWARD…Ammonite…

                Ammonite stone is unique fossil stone. Found in spiral shape or a crust which is rare and available only in Canadian State of Alberta. Therefore the Hidden Gems Festival is held at Calgary in Alberta State where the rare stone is found. Ammonite stones are of a spiral shape and also are said to have spiritual characteristics. The rare gemstone appropriates the frequency of the human body and enhances the vigor through creation of Kundalini energy. The spiral shape of this stone is also a symbol of evolution and progress. This type of gemstone is found at Madagascar islands in South Africa apart from Canada. The unique shine on this gemstone multiplies the attraction for an AMMONITE AWARD.

“PARTU” best among eight viable competitors…

There were eight viable films in the competition for the BEST FILM award at the Hidden Gems Film Festival held at Alberta, Canada. Jury Louis Hobson at the Festival said, “As all the films were of a very high quality it was a task in itself to adjudge the best film”. Louis Hobson further said that every member of the Jury was then asked to narrate the best side of every film and select a film with best PLUS factors. All the members of the Jury suggested “PARTU” for the award and the same was selected as the Best Film.

                Expressing his sentiments after winning the prestigious Ammonite Award Mr. Nitin Adsul, Director of PARTU said that this is a proud moment for entire PARTU team. He said that he was very happy to see that PARTU has been honored at an International level. The Ammonite Award is a genuine fruit of the efforts taken by PARTU team for presenting a memorable experience through the medium of films. It is proved once again that the fruit is an enlarged replica of the seed sown. Mr. Nitin Adsul dedicated the Award to his PARTU team…

The story of this film has been penned by Clark McMillian, Nitin Adsul and Darrel Cocks. Marathi dialogues of the film have been written by Mayur Dewal.  PARTU film is based on a different type of a true story and the period from 1968 to 1985 has been portrayed here. Sanjay Khanzode has handled the Cinematography and Music director Shashank Powar has provided appropriate musical score. Eminent singer Shankar Mahadevan has rendered the theme song for the film PARTU and well known Hollywood Music Director Mr. Greig Sims has provided the background score for the film. Editing has been handled by Rajesh Rao. Mr. Nitin Adsul, Sachin Adsul, Rupesh Mahajan, Darrel Cocks and Clark McMillian are Executive producers of the film. The unique bonds within a relationship can be seen in the film. PARTU has an eminent star cast in Kishor kadam, Smita Tambe, Saurabh Gokhale, Gayatri Soham, Anshuman Vichare, Navni Parihar, Raja Bundela, Ravi Bharatiya and child artist Yash Pandye.

Superstar Ankush Chaudhari bestow funds of 4 lakhs for “Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyaan”

Our honorable Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has successfully initiated “Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyaan” in a bid to make Maharashtra a drought-free state by 2019. Impressed by this initiative Superstar Ankush Chaudhari recently met CM Devendra Fadnavis at his residence ‘Varsha’. This was a courtesy meeting during which the two discussed various social issues.Apart from being an actor, Ankush Chaudhari is aware of his social responsibilities and use his star quotient as a tool to meet a bigger and larger cause, for the good of the people. To contribute to a good cause and to become a part of this Abhiyaan Ankush Chaudhari contributed 4 Lakhs to Chief Minister’s fund (Jalyukt Shivar).

RAJKUMAR TANGDE IS DOING ‘CHIVTI’!

A DEBUT INTO CINEWORLD AS A MEDIUM OF A DIRECTOR!

The popular one act play ‘AKADA’ from the celebrated play ‘Shivaji Underground in Bhimnagar Mohalla’ which was written and directed by Rajkumar Tangde who is also am actor has made a mark in the dramatic world is now taking a step into film direction with the film ‘Chivti’.

The director is known for his social awareness and for social subjects and from his work we have noticed his social skills and political awareness and now he has put a step forward as a film director.

We all know how sugar is a must for every household and the politics behind sugar production and this is the subject of his new film ‘Chivti’. The story screenplay and dialogues are also written by the director Rajkumar Tangde. The mahurat of the film was recently held at Beed and the film will soon be shot in Beed, Jalna and Mahabaleshwar. The producer is Ajinath Dhakne of Pragati Chitra Films. The film stars Milind Shinde, Sambhaji Tangde, Ashwini Bhalekar, Gauri Konge, Gajendra Tangde, Madhukar Bidve, Ashok Devkar, Devki Kharat, and Kishor Udhan. The DOP is Devendra Golatkar, and Bhagwan Medankar is the executive producer.

In a place like Jalna, Rajkumar Tangde has done a lot for the drama movement. In his one act play ‘Akada’ he had handled the issue of electricity pilfering. And with his play ‘Shivaji   Underground Bhimnagar Mohalla’ he had handled the sensitive issue of present social issue in the society and he was lauded a lot for this play. And everyone is waiting with bated breath to know what he brings out in his debut film

The promotional song of the film has been sung by none other than  Avadhhot Gupte.  Sachin Purohit and Abhiji Kawthalkar have produced the film. The lyrics written by Director  Niyaz Mujawar have been set to scintillating music by  Abhiji Kawthalkar and Sachin Purohit. Singers Adarsh Shinde, Nandesh Umap, Rishabh Purohit and Shabab Sabri have contributed their voices to the songs which will be found popular with people from all age groups. The Story and Screenplay of the film has been written by  Niyaz Mujawar,  Sachin Purohit and Abhiji Kawthalkar. The dialogues have been penned by Niyaz Mujawar.  Sandeep Patil has handled cinematography and  Bhaumik Shah has handled Choreography component. Siddharth Tatuskar is the Art Director, while Purti Kulkarni has designed the costumes and Santosh Gilbile has handled make –up. Film is edited by  Milind Damle . The PR work for the film is being handled by SIBA PR and Marketing Company.

The story of the film however has been kept strictly under wraps. Audience eagerness about “What is the meaning of DISCO SANNYA? has been increasing the heartbeats. However we shall have to wait a little bit more for the film to release.
