The film has been co-produced by Mangesh Ramchandra Jagtap and Shankar Rameshwar Mitkari. Shivaji Park Mumbai 28 has been directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, who is known for producing and directing films based on diverse subjects. The muhurat of the film recently took place in Pune and the shooting has also commenced.
