The launch event of Star Pravah’s latest show Halad Rusli Kunku Hasla was nothing short of spectacular. The highlight of the evening was a dynamic dance performance by lead actors Samruddhi Kelkar and Abhishek Rahalkar, which set the tone for the show’s emotional and cultural richness.

The show, which premiered on 7th July, introduces two contrasting worlds: Krishna, a proud farmer deeply rooted in her village soil, and Dushyant, a city-bred man who detests rural life. Their unexpected meeting sparks a complex journey—will it lead to a new beginning? Can the essence of the village touch Dushyant’s heart, or will the glitter of city life continue to pull him away? Halad Rusli Kunku Hasla promises to be a captivating tale of emotions, values, and transformation.
During the launch, the actors symbolically performed a supari fodne ceremony, marking the beginning of their on-screen journey. Their energetic performance on the title track brought the event to life.

Talking about her role, Samruddhi Kelkar, who plays Krishna, shared:
“Television has always been my favorite medium because it allows me to reach so many people and truly entertain. I’m thrilled to return to TV after almost two and a half years. I had been waiting for a strong role, and when this one came along, I instantly connected with it.”
She added, “My character Krishna is very different from my earlier role in Phulala Sugandh Maaticha. Krishna may not be conventionally educated, but she’s deeply knowledgeable about farming. She’s grown up in the heart of Kolhapur and embodies its spirit. For this role, I’ve adopted a completely different look—minimal to no makeup, reflecting Krishna’s hardworking nature. I’m even learning the local Kolhapuri dialect to make the character more authentic. I truly believe viewers will embrace this new journey.”

Abhishek Rahalkar, known for his role in Man Dhaga Dhaga Jodte Nava, is back on screen as Dushyant, a character that’s poles apart from his previous roles. Sharing his excitement, he said:
“I feel incredibly lucky to keep getting opportunities to work with such talented people. Dushyant is a fresh and exciting challenge for me. I’ve been working on my look and body language for over two months to get into character. I hope viewers accept and support this new version of me.”
