Sairat Star Rinku Rajguru’s ( Archi ) New Film is Titled ‘ Kaagar ‘
Rinku Rajguru became an overnight sensation post Sairat. Wherever she went, she was chased by her fans who thronged the venue to have a glimpse of her. But despite a whole year passing after the release of Sairat, Rinku (Archi) hadn’t signed any new film. It was only recently she announced that she would be starring in a new film directed by National Award winning director Makrand Mane (Ringan). The title of the film, which wasn’t announced earlier, is Kaagar!
The title and it’s font was released on social media recently and it has caught everyone’s attention. Designed by Chinmay Sant, the intriguing font has an unmistakably aggressive tone to it. Also, the gulaal in the font leaves one pondering over its meaning. Gulaal stands for victory, but here who’s the victor and what victory is he/she celebrating? We can also see a trickle of blood flowing from a stem which gives us a hint a it the darkness in the film.
Talking about the font, director Makarand Mane said, ‘A lot of thought is put into every detail of a film. Chinmay Sant heard the story and racked his brain to come up with a font for the title which not only attracts attention but also projects the soul of the film. He had done a brilliant job with the font of my previous film Ringan and he has done even better now. I am sure the font is going to be a talking point.’
Rinku’s co-stars in Kaagar would be announced soon. The film which is produced Vikas Hande and Sudhir Kolte (Udaharnarth Nirmitee) will be releasing next year. It’ll no doubt be one of the biggest releases of the year!
