On the eve of Maharashtra Day, by the ProSound Presentation and popular musician and lyricist Abhijeet Joshi, a masterpiece inspirational song “Majha Maharashtra” has been released. The song is sung by twelve popular Marathi musical icons. This icons include – Sadhana Sargam, Avadhoot Gupte, Ajit Parab, Vaishali Bhaisan-Marde, Prasanjit Kosambi, Rushikesh Kamerkar, Urmila Dhangar, Sonali Patel, Abhijit Kosambi, Abhishek Marotkar, Shrirang Bhave and Abhijit Joshi. The song features Maharashtra’s art, tradition-culture and its modernization. The song is composed in such a way that each and every Maharashtrian will be proud of it. It resembles to the core of Maharashtra over the years. Famous sound engineer Sandeep Barker is the presentor of the song, while Shantanu Rhode has directed it. The choreography is presented by Ashutosh Apte, while the music is composed by Uday Salvi. The Times Group is releasing this song, and the song has been recorded in Yashraj Studios.
Having his origin in Nagpur, Abhijeet Joshi has earlier has been in a role of lyricist and composer for many popular Marathi films which includes “Hari Om Vittala”, “Agadbam”, “Kaamapurta Vima”, “Supari Palkhi”, “Jaijaykar”, “Laxmi Yei Ghari”, “Har Har Mahadev”. Abhijeet has more than three hundred plus songs under his belt, including hundreds of albums, jingles and film songs. He has also worked with many popular artists in the industry. He has also composed and written many songs for promoting different government schemes. One of his popular song includes song – “River March”, which features Chief Minister, Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar and Amruta Fadnavis.
