FIRST LOOK AND MUSIC LAUNCH OF BIO-PIC ON BJP LEADER GOPINATH MUNDE HELD IN GREAT STYLE!
The bio-pic on late BJP leader Gopinath Munde titled ‘SANGHARSHYATRA‘ produced by Om Siddhivinayak Motion Pictures and producers Suryakant Baji , Sandeep Ghuge, Mukund Kulkarni and Raju Baji held its first look and music launch at a grand function in a South Bombay hot spot in the presence of its cast, crew and many celebrities..
The leader who came from a Dalit background was the true leader and spokesman for the downtrodden masses and was a selfless social leader. The film is directed by a young talented debutant Sakar Raut. The Chief Minister Devendra Phadanvis ‘s wife Amruta Phadanvis who is a singer makes her debut as a playback singer in this film with the rendition of the title song. She said on the occasion that it was always her ambition to make it as a playback singer couldn’t make it due to other commitments but when I was offered this song in this film on Gopinath Munde whom I revered a lot got me all excited and I am happy that I have got this song and I would like to pursue singing rather than composing. Presiding BJP MLA Ashish Shelar said on the occasion that ” this leader who came from a sugar cane worker farming background built sugar co-operatives and factories and who traveled all the globe and built many educational institutions and we have a lot to learn from his life and the title of the film perfectly suits his life”. He gave his best wishes for the film.
The director revealed that when he conceived the film it was only Sharad Kelkar who he thought fitted the bill for the title role and hence it was not revealed even in the first look and it was through the efforts of the make up artiste Pradeep Premgirikar which made Sharad look exactly the part. Sharad says, ” I didn’t want tpo take up the role because I was circumspect that whether I would look the part but the direcor Raut was very persistent and I made him chase around for a month but when make up man Pradeep worked on my look, I got a little bit more confident and gave my nod for the role”. The film is written by Viraj Muley and Vijay Gharge includingthe screen play and story. The rest of the cast includes Girish Pardesi, Shruti Marathe, Omkar Karve, Deepti Bhagwat, and Preetam Kangne. The ballads by Moreshwar Meshram Shahir have been composed by Anirudh Akshay and have been sung by Adarsh Shinde and Anirudh Joshi. The song sung by Amruta Phadnvis is composed by Srirang Urhekar and lyric by Mandar Chowlkar. The DOP Is Sanish Jayraj and editing is by Anant Kamath. So this film on a great leader which releases on 11 December is likely to be a good inspiration for all!
