The role of Dr. Lahane has been played by eminent actor Mr. Makarand Anaspure and the role of his mother has been played by another eminent actress Alka Kubal. Alka Kubal has excelled in her role as Anjanabai, who donates kidney for her son on the verge of death due to failure of both the kidneys.
