K K Menon Set to Debut in Marathi Film Industry Through ‘Ek Sangaychay’ !
Marathi film industry is flourishing in all aspect at present. New and sensible topics are well presented in the movies and are reaching new heights with its collection on box-office with this out of the box topics. Many popular stars from Bollywood have made their presence in the Marathi film industry, will many more are eager to mark their mark on silver screen in Marathi film. To this list of Bollywood stars one more name will be added soon. Under the banner of Devi Sateri Production house, with direction of actor Lokesh Vijay Gupte, in the film Ek Sangaychay…Unsaid Harmony, Bollywood actor KK Menon will make his debut in Marathi film industry, while playing a lead character in the upcoming film. Recently the poster launch event was hosted.
Actor Lokesh Gupte has made his presence in many Marathi serials, acts and films and has earned popularity through his acting. After working for many years in the industry, now Lokesh will try his fortune in direction of film through this film and thus has selected such a sensible topic, with complete and well established actor KK Menon as his lead for the film. All the pre-preparations for the film has been completed and the shoot of the film go on floor from 9th March. The film has cinematography by Sanjay Memane and Pushpak Gavade, lyrics of actor Jitendra Joshi, music by Shailendra Bavre, while the costumes handled by Chaitrali Gupte.
“I see many Marathi films. The story and the message send in Marathi films are very sensible and heart-touching. When I heard the story of the film, it touched my heart and I said yes to Lokesh on the spot. I have heard Marathi for a long time. I can understand Marathi very well, but now for the film I am learning Marathi.” said K.K. Menon.
Talking about the film, Lokesh said, “The film is based on the reality and unsaid things between the parents and children like… changing lifestyle, parents unavailability towards their child, their increasing expectations from their children, tough and competitive world, the widening of gap between the parents-child due lack of dialogue and its effect on both of them as well as on their relation. This all will be presented in the film in a very simple yet effective way”
Lokesh also said,“For the lead of the film I was in search of sensitive actor as well as good personality, who could understand the severity of the topic and who could deliver it through his acting. And I have found it through K.K. Menon. When I met him, I was convinced that he is perfect for this role and I finalized his name for the lead role.”
Ek Sangaychay…Unsaid Harmony will hit the theaters on the eve of Dussera on 18th October all over Maharashtra.
