South Star Thakur Anoop Singh sings a Marathi song
After making a name in the South film industry, pilot-turned actor Thakur Anoop Singh is all set to venture into the Marathi film industry. Not only has the star sung the song ‘Dhina Dhin Dhana’ in the yet untitled film to, but he will also be seen in the lead role in this Milind Gawli directorial.
Produced by Global Media Corporation’s Shreyas Kamle and Rajendra Kamle, this film will be presented by Ashok Kamle. Shiv Kadam has written the story for this film that is set to go on floors soon.
‘Dhina Dhin Dhana’ has been composed by Bollywood music director Bubbly Haq and Anoop’s voice is best suited for it. Anoop, the former pilot-turned-Mr World-turned-actor, is known for his physical attributes and acting skills but his new role as a singer is set to take many by surprise. Anoop has made his presence felt in the past with serials like Kahani Hamare Mahabharat Ki and Kahani Chandrakanta Ki. He is also doing the south film Singham 3 and another film with popular director Puri Jagannadh.
Speaking about the film, Milind Gawli, who has directed the Marathi film Athang before this venture, said, “We have a strong team and all I can say is that this will be an action film that does justice to Anoop’s personality.”
