First Ever Konkani Children’s Movie “Aaa Vai Jaa Saa” by Film India productions!!
“Aaa vai jaa saa” is the first Konkani childrens film to hit the theatres in July 2016 .The film is expected to be exceptional and promises many take aways for the young and not so young; ‘Aaa Vai Jaa Saa’ stands for Aaadhyatmik, Vaignanik, Jaatyateeth and Saamajik. This movie is concerned with the holistic development and progress of the new generation. It very devotedly and very aptly undertakes the serious task of divulging the dire need for spiritual, social, cultural as also collective growth and progress of the youngsters. Every nuance of film making is adopted to make it incredibly informative, educative as also entertaining.
The film has artists from Karnataka , Kerala , Maharastra and Goa. you will find all konkani dialects in this movie. Miss Gauurikaa Rao is the new talent with small but pivotal role in the film.
The film is packed with fun n frolic and ensures the children are taken to their roots to make them strong and equips them with the wings of knowledge to make them fly and grow up as strong, honest and confident citizens of this great country. Traditional gindi dance ,puppetry & yakshagana has been captured elegantly to potray aspects of culture. The child artistes includes Sarthak Shenoy, Shreyas Kamath, Samarth Shenoy and Spandana Pai. The film is directed by veteran Konkani film director Dr K Ramesh Kamath.
Film has been shot in beautiful coastal belt of Karnataka. The film is first ever Konkani film and will be having have world premiere at international Konkani convention 2016 organized by NAKA at Atlanta,Georgia,USA on 2nd July 2016.
Brief about the Director Dr.Ramesh Kamath :
Dr.Ramesh Kamath a graduate from prestegious Film and Television Institute of India ( FTII ),Pune and hails from Bangalore . Way back in 1980 he produced and directed the very first Saraswath Konkani Movie Titled JANA MANA . He was the former Director of Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium , Bangalore. he has written many Konkni Books popular among them is “Bharath Puracho Bharath Masthar ” which was published by KERALA KONKANI ACADEMY.
